Keep on blogging... Posted by Picasa

Ralph Fiennes who is in his 40's has been living with Francesca Annis, 61, an amazing actress, for almost 10 years. They make a stunning couple, if you ask me.  Posted by Picasa

Went to see The Constant Gardener tonight. I'd read the book last year and really liked it, so I was hoping that aside from getting to watch Ralph Fiennes all night, the movie would be good as well, just as a bonus. It was. My only negative comment would be that the herky jerky cinematography, which was amazing and wonderful, also made me uber nauseous. I was so sure I was going to lose my popcorn that I watched the whole last quarter of the flick with my eyes squeezed shut. Urp.
Does anyone else have this problem with some movies? It's so frustrating, because I never get seasick, been up in helicopters loads of times, never get airsick, but I get really green sitting in a theatre. They should have warnings on the ads. ;-) Posted by Picasa

Whenever we're going through Woodbridge Ontario (near Boyd Park) we always stop at Berto Osteria, the best little restaurant in the Township of Vaughan. Berto, the owner/chef always prepares us something fresh and wonderful. Yum. Posted by Picasa

I'm not exaggerating when I say this puffball fungus (Calvatia gigantea) was bigger than a soccer ball. There was a whole colony of them in the woods we walked through at sunset. One fruiting body of this fungus may contain over a billion spores! A fecund fungus. Posted by Picasa

These two guys were playing chess on the bench right at the edge of the lakeshore. I really liked the way it looked.  Posted by Picasa

My own little stone art thingie. You see, this is the difference between Ricardo and I. He would have raked the sand in front of the rock with his fingers until all the footprints were gone. Sad part is, he's right, that would have looked so much better. Bleh. I concede defeat.  Posted by Picasa

Here's a classic shot. It's Diana and John Saffer. Old friends. And today I tracked her down, living in the northern tip of Scotland and we had a really nice chat. Posted by Picasa

There's old Mulatta the dog, Stan and I on the farm. I think my hair weighed more than I did. Thanks to Donna Green for bringing her photo album. Great memories! Posted by Picasa
