Shola the wonder dog

My newest four legged friend, Shola. I think I'm shooting more four legged than two legged in the last two months. But isn't she beautiful?
Black dogs are notoriously hard to photograph. They're like "light-sinks".. the light goes in, but it doesn't reflect at all. Luckily Shola's coat had a really nice sheen and it helped a lot. She was very patient with the silly humans all around her and managed to not pee on the backdrop paper, which I consider a bonus in any session. ;-)
