Frogs are disappearing, in case you haven't noticed. That's why I'm so thrilled to see these guys in our secret garden. Frogs, and all amphibians are sensitive indicators of water quality because they absorb gases and chemicals directly through the skin. Vanishing frogs could be an early warning of serious water problems in the environment. We need to pay closer attention to the little things around us.
